Description
This fleece weighs 4 pounds with a 3 inch staple length. A tightly crimped spinning fleece (from Bowen, our beautiful brown boy) of medium brown Shetland wool. His locks are towards the finely styled type with a tight crimp with strong tips. This fleece is very intact..with just a tiny bit of felting that pulls apart. Shetland fleeces produce a light lofty yarn with a silky finish. And a little goes a long way. Purchase of our products helps to support and preserve our heritage flock of sheep and the production of quality wool products.

A woman owned farm raising 50 Shetland, and now Gotland and Shetland/Gotland crosses, producing a line of Shetland and new this year-Gotland yarn. We provide both natural and hand dyed colors. We also produce socks from our yarn right on the farm. If you would like solid colored socks knit to your shoe size, we offer that service.
