Misty Moor acrylic on canvas ONLINE Show MEET THE ARTIST: Anna Krause Anna has been crafting and creating all her life. Her earliest interests were in textile creations, knitting, rug hooking, sewing and embroidery. Consequently, she majored in art/ textiles as part of a teacher training program in Germany and at UBC in Canada. This is where her passion for painting evolved. However, life’s path only allowed for dabbling in artistic pursuits until retiring in 2018. She rediscovered her passion of painting and loves learning different mediums and approaches through art classes and fellowship with local artists. She prefers mostly watercolours and acrylics as well as mixed media. Anna is inspired by the bountiful and unique nature in her chosen home on Vancouver Island. Be it a new path discovered or the connection with the landscape she encounters on her walks every day. These moments form the basis of her personal art journey.
