This work is a celebration of marriage that combines the text of the poem of Rabbi Israel Najara combining language and themes of love imagery from the Song of Songs with a skillful reworking of the text of the traditional Ketubah.
This work incorporates the themes of wholeness, integrity, unification and completion in the realms of time, space and human relationship. All of this encircles Rabbi Israel Najara’s powerful verse images like a delicate bride circling around her beloved groom.
