In this Loving Cup, rich cobalt glass is encased in a cage of silver which supports the embossed pewter ring, six pointed star, and the cup for the wine. The Hebrew, "Ani l'dodo, v'dodo li" ("I am my beloved's and my beloved is mine") is hand pierced from the cup's base. This is the most well known quotation from the "Song of Songs" from the Old Testament. Believed to have been written by King Solomon in 900 B.C.E., it has served as a declaration of love between a couple for generations. A perfect wedding or anniversary gift!

I enjoy seeing the potential in found objects and antique elements. Combining my metalsmithing skills with my artistic vision, I often transform these components into unique pieces of Jewish ritual objects. My work acknowledges the past, yet offers new and unusual forms which satisfy the demands of religious requirements. Through hand forming, piercing, soldering, and/or riveting pewter, brass & copper, I create my one-of-a-kind and limited edition ceremonial pieces.
My work has been featured in 10 books, The NY Times, The Boston Globe, calendars and greeting cards. I have received several awards, and was the 2018 "Handmade Business Magazine" runner up for their Entrepreneur of the Year Award. My ritual objects are in the collection of 3 Jewish Museums.
