"Loving Arches", 18"x24" Framed photograph

This is the entrance to the nave of Sweetheart Abbey in Galloway, Scotland. The abbey is over 860 years old and still a magnificent piece of architecture. It is hard not to be in awe standing where I was and seeing, feeling the beauty before me. The image was taken on film with a medium format camera (Fuji 680). It is printed, mounted onto Gatorboard and a matte lamination applied. The lamination seals the print so no glass is used and the micro-texture of the lamination removes all light reflections from the print surface. Voila!
