"Loving Arches" 18" x 24" gallery-wrap canvas

This image is the nave of Sweetheart Abbey in Galloway, Scotland. The abbey is nearly 860 years. The roof is long since missing so yes, that is grass growing in the abbey! But the beautiful pillars are all still there. It is a moving and soul-stirring place to walk into. One of the few places on my photography travels I have ever experienced total silence by others when they walk in. You can tell they too are in awe. The image is printed as an 18"x24" gallery-wrap canvas on a keyed stretcher frame. The phrase "gallery-wrap" means the image wraps around the edge of the stretcher frame so from whatever direction you look at the image, all you see is - image! The "keyed" stretcher frame means there are small wooden keys on the backside in the joints. If the canvas ever becomes less taught, you can lightly tap those keys into the joints and it will re-tighten the canvas. The image is signed and numbered from my edition of 250.
