Description
For as long as I can remember, I have been awestruck by the beauty of swans. They have been a staple in my art, and I would spend nearly the entirety of my breaks just staring at the swans (they have trumpeter swans!) when I had a part time job at the Detroit Zoo.
These two swans are made a with needle felted wool- a technique that uses a specialized needle to compact and entangle fibers. They have an aluminum wire armature, allowing the necks and heads to be positioned.
