Long Beveled Oval Platter

INVENTORY #19026 Ideal platter for meats, cheeses, appetizers, cookies, crackers, fruits, or as a catchall for objects like keys, wallets, coins, jewelry, etc. The beveled rim makes it easy to lift and contain small amounts of liquid that may seep out. The glazes are food-safe, dishwasher safe and microwavable. Handbuilt slab construction created over a hump mold; Decoration process: carved and impressed design elements; Glaze process: hand painted underglazes, glaze trailed and dipped overall glaze. Cone 6 mid-fire clay fired in oxidation to 2200ºF. One of a kind, unique designs reflect the artist’s observation of nature and years of scuba diving, plant life, textures and terrain.
