Lithops ssp: These mesembs from South Africa thrive in full sun, rocky, well-draining soil, and are adapted to long droughts. Only the tops of the leaves are visible, blending in with the surrounding geology in various colors and patterns. This selection features variety with different tones and patterned leaf tops. Deep taproots and minimal watering are essential to prevent the fleshy leaves from bursting. In autumn, flowers appear followed by splitting to reveal a new set of inner leaves. The inner leaves receive water from the older outer leaves, which wither and fall off in dry soil. Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. These pots have 2-3 plants per pot.
