Pain point: The frustration of black women not receiving equitable healthcare (when it comes to maternal, physical, and mental health), not being heard in healthcare when it comes to their health and the mistrust blacks have against providers because of such reason.
Our T-shirt design/brand is in no way to put blame on physicians, but to bring awareness that provider racial bias does exists towards black women, men, and children and how can we as a culture and community can bridge the gap to enhance patient to provider trust and provide equitable healthcare to black communities, so we can decrease and prevent conditions such as but not limited to heart disease, diabetes, and cancer that disproportionally affect the black communities.
