Lemoncello

One of our specialties here at the distillery that is a non-traditional Limoncello- hence the twist on the name: Lemoncello. We hand zest the lemons that we soak in our high proof spirits, mixed with our homemade simple syrup. This is our sweetest spirit on our shelf. It derives from a 3rd generation recipe from Sicily, with our own Pennsylvania twist. It has a very rich lemony front, followed by a smooth sweet velvety finish. It is the perfect spirit to cleanse your palate after an Italian supper, or makes perfectly refreshing summer time cocktails. However, summer isn’t the only time to enjoy this fantastic spirit. We LOVE adding this in a hot toddy to add a rich silky texture to warm you up on a cold winter night.
