Part of the "Journey's End" series that showcases landscapes that bring a sense of peace after a long journey, this piece is about the feeling I get when I see the sun go down over a deep blue Canadian lake.
I aim to use texture to capture how brief and vibrant moments like these really are, with a sky full of movement. Inspired by Twelve Mile Lake in Ontario.

I am an abstract impressionistic painter, living in Toronto with my husband and our mini goldendoodle, Josie.
Originally born in Alberta, I find strength and stillness in forests, fields, and by water.
Painting is a restorative process for me, it gives me time to focus on how beautiful and magical our world can be.
My works include both landscapes and portraits, although the portraits often include elements of nature such as branches or mountains.
My overarching goal would be that my collectors feel the same sense of magic and connection I feel to the world through painting.
