A work of pure abstraction where color, form, iridescence and high texture of fine sand and spackle, create a contemporary statement while engaging a feeling of the earths surface and its various elements. Areas of the painted surface are finished with lacquer while areas of high relief and texture are left matte.

I attended Parsons School of Design and received my degree in Fine Arts in 1958.
In the late 70's I developed my present form of painting on maple wood and created a line of wearable art, Wood Images.
In 1975 I developed the form of painting on maple wood spheres. I found that working in the round presented new compositional challenges not found in the two dimensional art form. The spheres range in size from 4” diameter to 24” diameter.
