Lady of December Birth Flower LIMITED EDITION Masquerade Mask

This is a LIMITED EDITION mask, meaning only TEN of this design will ever be created! This mask draws upon the themes of December with its Turquoise birthstone and celebrated flower, the white narcissus. Because it is so intricate, I will only be making a limited number of this particular design! Each one is signed and numbered on the back. The green stems and leaves in this mask are metallic and shimmer in the light. It's simply stunning in person! It is held to the face by organza ribbon tied behind the head. This mask has been dyed with leather dye and hand painted with acrylic paints. It is finished with satin varnish. WHY LEATHER? Leather is a breathable material that conforms to the wearer's face over time, making it perfect for masks! It also lasts a lifetime, if correctly cared for. CARE & STORAGE - Store masks in a dry place out of the sun with backing to hold its shape. Hat and shoe boxes with tissue paper for backing make for great recycled storage containers. Styrofoam heads (like the ones you get for wigs) would be even better! - Not wearing it often? Frame it in a shadow box for a piece of unique art for your wall! - DO NOT bend it too out of shape or you could break the shape and crack the paint and sealant. - DO NOT leave it in the sun or a hot car - DO NOT wear it in a downpour, as this could compromise the shape and finish. A light drizzle should be fine, but keep it from being soaked or dunked in water.
