Description
This is one of my 'short/narrow fitted lid' style boxes. It is sized for smaller items.
The carcass of the box is made from maple with a top of pencil-line spalted maple. The lid is positioned and retained by a lip of thin maple stock. The floor of the box is lined with tan ultra-suede, to protect whatever you choose to keep inside. The bottom of the box has four soft feet to protect your table top from marring.
The box is finished with several hand-rubbed coats of clear lacquer and then waxed to bring out the natural color and figure of the woods.
The box is signed and has a unique serial number.
