Ora Cooper is an Israeli-born artist who specializes in fine jewelry, handworked Judaic silver objects, and Hebrew calligraphy. She holds a Master of Fine Arts degree from California State University at Los Angeles.
Her work has been exhibited in many places, both here and abroad, including the Los Angeles Museum of History, the Downey Museum, and the Jerusalem Fair in Texas. Ms. Cooper has taught silversmithing at UCLA, and jewelry making, drawing, and painting at the University of Judaism. She also teaches jewelry making in private classes in addition to conducting her business in fine jewelry.
Ms. Cooper works in nearly every aspect of fine arts: metalwork of all types, including the hand fabricating of large objects; textiles, including batik and weaving: the graphic arts, especially Hebrew lettering: and painting and drawing.
Ms. Cooper is particularly noted for her Judaic silver objects.
