Kalanchoe 'Flapjack' is an enticing soft succulent with a distinctive shape and found in Zimbabwe, Mozambique, South Africa, and Swaziland. Its clam shell-like leaves grow outward and can develop a wavy appearance over time. Exposure to direct sunlight and cool temperatures can cause the pink edges of the leaves to deepen and expand. The leaves can reach up to 6.0" wide and produce new offsets at their base. This monocarpic plant will eventually produce a tall bloom stalk with pale yellow, tubular flowers after a few years. While the flowering rosette will die, the offsets can be transplanted or left to form tight clusters.
