Island Hopping

Island Hopping is a modern improv quilt in a variety of blues and greens, with tiny accents of burgundy. Improv blocks and curved stripes give energy to the piece and it’s the perfect size to add a splash of color to a wall in your home or office. The cool improv blocks in the midst of the curved stripes reminded me of islands in a stream and inspired the name. The stitching has pebble detailing in the gray stripes and narrow wavy lines in the colorful stripes. The lower edge is deliberately uneven. Includes a hanging sleeve and slat with a small opening in each end for easy hanging on the wall with only two nails.
