From my Into the Wilds line. This is my story. In my 20's and 30's I was an avid hiker. I knew my area forest, Blackwater, like the back of my hand. I often hiked the forest not only during the day but also at night. More than that I hiked it without a light I knew it so well. There was a certain magic to hiking by moonlight that can't quite be conveyed in words.
