In the Snow

This is an original engraved wood work. Inspired by the one of our favorite scenes in the well known 1992 film. Each wooden engrave starts as a digitally designed file. Erik’s digital pieces are a mix of hand drawing, digital drawings, and photoshop. The file is then altered to represent multiple layers that are engraved and cut into wood. This is a collaboration piece between Erik and Kristina. Erik designed and engraved the wood, Kristina painted each alcohol ink background. Each background piece has been painted to represent the snow against a cityscape. This piece is measured at 7” x 5” and is shipped in the frame shown. The frame is roughly 8” x 6” and 1.5” deep.
