This painting was created from life in the small desert town of Bisbee, AZ. Bisbee was founded in the late 19th century as a copper and gold mining town; today it is the quirky home of some 5,000 residents. It is a series of small roads and houses tucked into the rocky terrain of the Mule Mountains. Staircases jut out of people’s rocky backyards, cutting into the mountainsides and criss-crossing the town in a series of secret shortcuts. Here sits a store owner, taking a break in the afternoon sun.
This print measures 8x10 inches, and comes with a protective sleeve and cardboard backing. Standard size, easily framed. Come to my office hours or message me if you have any questions!
