16x20 acrylic painting on canvas. The painting was created for those we have lost during the pandemic. The smoke from the fire has Shoshone, Lakota and Arapaho words. The picture is comprised of pacific coastal, metis and plains style of art.
I am Northern Arapaho, Wind River Reservation. I grew up in the Pacific Northwest and I am considered a comtempoary Native Artist. I work with acrylic paints on either cavase or wood. I also do carvings and build custom furniture.
I am part of the Two Waters Art Alliance, listed in the Source Directory for the U.S Department of Interior as a Native Artist. I have shown some of my work at the SOIL Gallery in Seattle and continue to show work thru virtal markets.
