Handwoven Jacob Sheep Wool "Rainbow Colored" Floor Rug

Item # FB377 28" x 63" Hand woven rug made from gently dyed Jacob Sheep wool. Made by taking "Piper's" (picture of Piper is above) lighter colored wool and dying it in a multiple "rainbow" of colors and handweaving these colors in a varigated stripped effect We shear our animals each spring. The fleeces /wool are then cleaned, spun and hand-woven. This rug is made on my 2-harness floor loom in a revised "Rep" style weave pattern, which makes a very durable rug. It is woven using pink and gray warp colors. The warp is made of a soft, but durable poly/cotton blend material. I have completed this rug with a triple reinforced sewn edging. This rug would be great for any room! Washing instructions: I would recommend hand washed with mild detergent or a very gentle cycle of washing machine. Rinse & Flat dry.
