Great Impression Cuff Bracelet

As you may know from meeting me at a show or from reading my blog, my studio is out in the country in the rural Midwest. It is very woodsy here, and that woodsiness has affected and influenced my art. This bracelet is the proof. It starts with several pieces of textured and variegated dried acrylic paint which has been peeled from the artist palette. They are layered, designed, embellished until it becomes a piece of wearable art from the palette. The focal point of this piece is a delicious oval of epoxy clay with a floral impression, which was painted in sage green and copper. It is finished off with a beaded toggle and copper chain.
