Gilded: Raised Square Necklace

Stone(s): N/A Material(s): Inner square is 24K yellow gold vermeil. Outer square, bail (hook), and box chain are oxidized sterling silver (pictured) or high polished sterling silver (.925).  Pendant/Chain Measurement(s): Pendant is 3/4“ long and 5/8” wide. Box chain is included, available in the following lengths: 16," 18," or 20."  Description/Artist Notes: Vermeil is a type of gold finish that is composed of a thick layer of gold over solid sterling silver. The thickness of the gold portion must be a hefty 2.5 microns. The gold vermeil square is hammered by hand and raised from the sterling silver, for depth and texture.
