This print has three patents that shaped the Gibson Les Paul guitar. The first patent by Ted McCarty, CEO of Gibson at the time, is for the fixed bridge and tail piece and shows the classic shape of the Les Paul. The second patent, also by Ted McCarty is for the Tune-o-matic bridge for perfect intonation during tuning. The third patent by Seth Lover, Gibson employee, is for the humbucker twin coil pickup, designed to reduce noise.
The print has a classic cherry sunburst Gibson Les Paul.
