Green and white glass stringers were held over a flame to create the curves in the glass and finish the ends. Using a clear glass base, the stringers were arranged over pale green and blue frit. Poppy themed millefiori and red frit were sprinkled on top of the design. The layered glass was then fired in a kiln for hours to fuse the layers together into 1 flat piece of glass. It was fired again over a shallow bowl mold to shape. The glass is food safe and can be displayed as art glass or a serving piece. It is truly a one of a kind creation.
