From The Top acrylic on canvas MEET THE ARTIST: Miriam Myers Miriam Myers was born in Saskatchewan. She took many art classes and produced a variety of oil paintings in her youth on the prairies. Choosing a career in business and raising a family became her priorities but she craved to spend time on art. In 2017, Miriam relocated to Vancouver Island where she took up the brushes again. Miriam has attended many classes through local studios and colleges and has been mentored. She has changed her medium to acrylics and has enjoyed the benefits that art has provided. Miriam has had exhibits and sales at several prior juried art shows. She has also had her pieces shown in a two-person exhibit at a local gallery. She has had individual paintings displayed at several locations. She is looking forward to continued art lessons, paintings, and shows.
