MEET THE ARTIST: Deborah Storey
I am passionate about nature in all it's forms, but after fifty years of living on Vancouver Island I have come to be especially concerned with the waters surrounding it, the life that lives there and how crucial each and every life form is to the balance that exists between them. I like to think of my paintings as little snap shots of life in the ocean and hope that seeing them will make people think about nature in a different way and come to love and advocate for these things so that their existence survives and continues.
