MEET THE ARTIST: Afshan Khan
Afshan Khan is a self-taught visual artist from Balzac, Alberta. She started exploring art to help her cope with postpartum depression. As she started creating art, she fell in love with the process; as it allowed her to share her thoughts and feelings via colours and textures. She enjoys nature walks/hiking and draws inspiration from the natural beauty that surrounds her. She enjoys making textured art ; her style is a vibrant blend of Impressionism and Abstract. She is very much inspired by the works of Van Gogh and Gustav Klimt. Her work would refresh any space and uplift your mood.
