Description

Euphorbia Inermis var. Huttonae, also known as Green Crown and Medusas Head, is a broad, shallow, and cup-shaped succulent from South Africa belonging to the Euphorbiaceae family. This winter-dormant plant can reach a height of 12 inches and has a balanced growth rate, making it a slow-growing but exceptionally long-lived plant. Its flowers, which are green with white or pure white, also feature hairy lobes between the glands. During the growing season, water regularly and avoid watering during winter. In the summer, use a cacti fertilizer with high potassium content. A deep pot with holes is essential for proper air circulation around the green crown. When creating a well-drained mix, use non-organic materials like clay, pumice, and lava grit. The ideal growing season for Green Crown is summer, with a hardiness zone of 9a to 11b. It can tolerate frost anywhere between -6.7° C (20° F) and 10° C (50° F). Please Note: Plant will ship bare root with little to no dirt, and you will receive a plant similar to the one in the photo. Be aware that the sap of this plant is toxic and should not be touched by children or pets. If you happen to come into contact with the sap while handling the plant, wash your hands right away.Returns & exchanges: Not acceptedPlease contact us if you have any issues with your order
