'Enlightened', 40" X 60" X 1.5" Mixed Media Oil on Canvas.
This piece was a joy to create. The underpainting is painted in oils, and later colored pigment was added to the archival resin to express movement. The cuts of glass used formed an antique vase that displayed beautiful lines of warm colors. The middle piece is also an antique candy bowl from my mother who loved it's frosted white color. Given the right atmosphere, this piece will brighten up any room with busts of happiness shining from its happy centerpiece to the many facets of glass.
