Emerald Showers

Emerald Showers This is one of those amazing lakes. I couldn't believe the color of the water. I went to this location wanting a sunrise or even sunset shot, but had no idea when I left, that it had been raining for 22 days. So I knew that I wasn't going to get the colors that I wanted to. When I got to the lake it had just stopped raining. I knew that I had little time to find a good composition before it started up again. I climbed up the side of a mountain to get the best view of the lake, I hurried to set up and fired 2 sets of pics before the rain started up again. By the time I got back to the car I was soaked. But, was happy that I got rained on by emerald showers. All my images are printed on fine art paper and then placed under acrylic to add, depth, clarity and a color pop that is unsurpassed.
