"Emerald Forest", 24"x30" framed photograph

This is a small, unnamed waterfall in the Pisgah National Forest in North Carolina. One of the most beautiful flow patterns I have ever seen in a small waterfall. The image was taken on film using a large format (4x5) view camera. Capture in early summer with new growth emerging on the trees and a medium overcast so blue light is filtered out and it renders green. The photograph is mounted to Gatorboard and overlain with a matte lamination that both seals the print (hence no glass or acrylic is ever to be used) and the micro-texture of the lamination removes all light reflection from the surface. The wood frame and linen liner add 2.5" to all sides so the outside dimensions (space the image will fill in hanging in a space) is 29" x 35".
