A Hollow Earth sword has weight and balance that closely approximates a metal sword. They are ideal for full-contact sparring, staged combat, teaching, learning, and practicing swordsmanship. Each contour of our swords is individually shaped and sanded by the sword smith to create its unique form. This devotion to detail results in a superior grip, heft, and balance. This is truly art you can fight with. THE WOOD: This Elven sword has hickory blade with your choice of Walnut or Cherry grip plates. Through many years of testing, we have found hickory to be the superior American hardwood for sparring weapons. SPECS: Overall Length: 24-28 in THE CARE: Each sword is treated with a special all natural, non-toxic, sword salve that is handcrafted in our shop. This protects the sword from weather and prolongs the life of your sword. Upon receiving your sword, it is a good idea to use a soft cloth to buff the wax into the wood. THE ACCESSORIES: Our Elven Frogs are perfect for wearing your Elven sword at the ready and can be added to most standard belts. THE SHIPPING: Most in stock items will ship in 1-3 business days.
