Description
This piece was painted from life in several hour-long morning sessions. It features the entrance to the famous gondola in Telluride, CO, which takes people up and down the mountain in little glass bubbles. Two young boys race to the skate park, horsing around. Nearby, a few people wander down the street, looking in the windows of the Cosmo restaurant.
"Dreaming in Telluride" was part of my recent solo show, "Finding America". It was held at Headquarters Gallery in Telluride for the month of September, 2020. The work measures 20x20 inches and is professionally framed. It has a dark brown edge frame 2 inches thick.
