An original acrylic on canvas painting. Painting is painted on edges of 2" deep canvas (gallery wrap), and ready to hang without frame. My work is comprised of many thin layers of acrylic. I finish out all elements of the painting very soft and dream like. They have been described as "dreamscapes". The piece "discovery" is about our quest for new things. For me, it has been about hiking through the back roads looking for a great old farm house or barn from yesteryear that is still standing. This is my favorite "Discovery". I confess often, taking a chance and trespassing through barb wired fences. I've often felt, however, "if you ain't cheat'n, you ain't try'n".

Meet your seller
I've been painting since childhood. Growing up in the Southwest, I always admired the beauty and mystery of the thunder clouds that would move in across the plains. It is natural that I became a landscape painter. It is also natural as an artist of many years, to explore further into contemporary painting. I have made these explorations, not at the expense of my landscapes, but in addition to them.
