Day Lilly Delight

This luminous painting of a colorful hummingbird feasting on bright daylillies is titled “Daylilly Delight”. It is a mixed media piece done with pen, alcohol ink, and watercolor on Yupo paper. Yupo is a synthetic paper which is extremely tough, and lends a lovely luminous effect to the paints. The painting measures 9” x 12” total, with a painted area of 8” x 10”, and has been varnished with Kamar varnish, as well as with a UV protective acrylic clear coating. It also includes an archival quality mat and backer board, in your choice of white or black. The matting allows the painting to be framed in a standard size 11” x 14” frame (frame not included).
