Original oil on canvas framed in "floating" whitewashed wooden frame to expose gallery wrap. Canvas size is 40"H x 30"W. My frames add 3" to the height/width dimensions of the canvas size. Framed dimensions are 43" H x 33" W. Dimensions noted below are for the shipping crate if shipping via FedEx. When I'm not at art festivals or in my studio painting, I love to travel. One of my favorite destinations is San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. Filled with historic buildings and beautiful churches, this artist's haven offers me a cool, dry respite from the heat and humidity of Southeast Texas.

I paint in studio with oils on canvas from photographs I take as I travel the coastal South. I have such wonderful memories of growing up at the beach on the Bolivar Peninsula that I am particularly drawn to paint coastal birds, boats and landscapes near the shore. I was born and raised in Beaumont, TX and graduated with a BFA in Graphic Design from our hometown university, Lamar University. After a career in advertising, I returned to my first love - painting.

I am a studio artist who paints with oils. I still build and stretch my own canvases. I accept commissions and also offer giclée reproductions of my original paintings on canvas and archival watercolor paper.
