Dark Brown Washed Alpaca Roving from Lester

4 ounces of Dark Brown Ready-to-Use Alpaca Roving, from the Blanket from Lester of Alford Family Farms and Spinnery. Professionally washed and carded by Alford Family Farms and Spinnery, with great care taken to ensure a wonderful end product. The fiber is pre-washed followed by hand picking of vegetable matter, opening, two washes and four rinses. The washing process allows for a gentle moving of water through the fiber to avoid agitation. Temperature controls prevent shock to the fleece as it soaks. No harsh chemicals are used in the cleaning of the fleece. A Stonehedge picker and carder processed the washed fleece. This GORGEOUS roving is from an alpaca at Alford Family Farms. The roving is perfect for spinning and knitting into warm garments! The carded fiber is super easy to spin on a spinning wheel or drop spindle.
