Colossal Spiked Trilobite Pendant - Silver

This unique "Colossal" Trilobite Fossil Pendant is cast in sterling silver. Alisha hand picked the Utah Trilobite fossils on our February trip to the Tucson gem and mineral show and designed this spikey Trilobite setting especially for them. Each of the pendants will be slightly different due to subtle variations between each fossil specimen but all are uniquely beautiful. The pendant is 2 inches long and 1 1/4 inches across. The black cord is included in the price of the pendant or you may choose a sterling chain from the drop down menu. Alisha’s trilobite jewelry designs feature Elrathia Kingi Trilobites from Utah. Sourcing the right size and quality is challenging and Alisha chooses the finest specimens available. Each specimen has its unique characteristics and time worn imperfections. (You would too if you were 65 - 300 million years old.) There are over 20,000 trilobite species and the fossils are found on every continent on earth. They are extinct arthropods, a distant relative to horseshoe crabs, spiders and lobsters.
