Welcome to the City System! This little metropolis is spread out over an entire solar system. If city life isn’t for you… the suburbs are lovely too!
This bright little mixed-media painting was created primarily with acrylic paints, inks, graphite, hand painted art papers and other found paper ephemera. It measures 3 x 2 inches and is matted for a 5 x 7 frame. FRAME IS NOT INCLUDED. Hand-signed, dated and titled on back.
About the collection:
The Little Universe series is comprised of the first 25 days of of my 2020 100 Day Project and features little escapes into my Unknown Universe. If you look closely, you’ll find that many of these pieces serve as an adventurer’s guide, luring you through my world. Planets and moons in the background of one piece, move to the foreground of another. It’s such a fun way to explore!
The 100 Day Project is an annual event that challenges participants to do one creative thing for 100 days. You’ll find makers and artists of all skill levels and mediums sharing their projects from a painting a day, to a row of knitting on a scarf. From making one mark on a large canvas each day, to writing a whole poem. It’s really very inspiring! This year I am participating for the 4th time!
