Ceramic Bowls with Hibiscus in 6 colors

Slabbuilt ceramic bowls with hibiscus imagery and leaf texture in a modern pattern. The glaze choices are bright rich colors Noodle/Soup/Cereal/Ice Cream Bowl is approx 5.25" diameter and about 2" deep. Note the Wisteria bowl is a bit wider at the base. See photos Handbuilt pottery can be challenging. There might be some wonkiness to add to the charm but if the wonkiness is extreme, a hammer is taken to the piece. This challenge dictates the higher pricing on handmade dinnerware. I create each piece by hand, step-by-step, from white stoneware. Slabs are rolled flat - then cut and tissue transfer paper is cut with a jagged edge and texture applied to the other side of the design. Then the slab is joined at the seam and stretched to the curvy profile you see in the photos. The bowls have a flat, unglazed bottom. The piece is then glazed and fired to 2185 degrees in my electric kiln, at my San Diego home studio. It is lead-free and safe to use in your microwave & dishwasher.
