"Canadian Blues", 18"x24" gallery-wrap canvas

This is a 12-second exposure of sunrise in late-summer in Quetico Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. It is a canoe-in only area similar to the Boundary Waters in Minnesota. Had not seen anyone for 4.5 days, did not see others for the next 7. Perfection! The photograph is 18"x24" and printed on canvas. The image is gallery-wrapped on a 1.5" deep keyed stretcher bar. Meaning, the image is mirrored around the stretcher bar so the image is continuous from the surface going around the side. The 'keyed' part means the stretcher bar has small wooden keys on the backside that should the canvas ever become loose on the stretcher bar (unlikely, still .... ) you tap the keys into the corners lightly with a small hammer and it retightens the canvas. Voila!
