Inspired by my trips to Mayan ruins of the Mexico, this hot cast glass disc with marble base, is hand carved on the perimeter with ruins reflecting the Mayan calendar, with interior moons and stars, and spirals, hand ground and polished to reveal the interior.

Phoenix Studio & Gott Glass Gallery was established in 1993 by artist Susan Gott. Located in the heart of the Seminole Heights business district and just north of downtown Tampa, The Gallery and Studio is open to the public with a variety of cast and blown glass, recognition awards and one-of-a-kind glass sculpture for the discerning collector. We offer open house events, glass blowing classes for all ages, and team building or studio visits for small groups. Susan Gott specializes in sculptural cast glass incorporating steel and stone and her work can be found in public art collections, notable galleries, museums, and private collections. Susan Gott holds an M.F.A. from Kent State University, studied at Pilchuck, Haystack, Arrowmont, and Penland.
