This is a photograph of wild blueberry fields in east-central Maine, taken in October during fall colors. The plants themselves turn color. They are grown in large fields called "barrens", often exceeding 100-acres in size. These are photographed on a rainy afternoon with heavy overcast hence the brilliant red coloration. Taken on large format film (4"x5").
Image is 32"x40", mounted to Gatorboard and laminated (no glass used). Presented in a wood frame with linen liner. Frame+liner add 3.5" on all sides, so outside dimensions of the frame is 39"x47".
NOTE: This edition of 150 is nearly sold out. I have this image as presented, a 32"x40 framed piece offered in this show, plus 3 numbers remaining. Edition is 150.
