This piece if a part of my "Journey's End" series, a collection celebrating the sense of peace and accomplishment that comes from reflecting on a long journey. For me, I find myself finding peace in those moments in nature.
This painting showcases some of my favourite wildflowers at dusk, the moment when the sunset has faded, and the sky is filled with a majestic blue for just a few minutes before the sky turns black.

I am an abstract impressionistic painter, living in Toronto with my husband and our mini goldendoodle, Josie.
Originally born in Alberta, I find strength and stillness in forests, fields, and by water.
Painting is a restorative process for me, it gives me time to focus on how beautiful and magical our world can be.
My works include both landscapes and portraits, although the portraits often include elements of nature such as branches or mountains.
My overarching goal would be that my collectors feel the same sense of magic and connection I feel to the world through painting.
