Blue and Silver Chain Maille Necklace

This delicate looking necklace combines blue anodized niobium* and sterling silver in a 2x2 chain maille weave. It has a sterling silver lobster claw clasp. It is available in lengths from 16” to 24”. SHIPPING: Only the 18” length is available for immediate shipping. If you order one of the other lengths, please add up to an extra 10 days for shipping. You can contact bernadettes11@gmail.com for a more exact shipping date. * Niobium (Nb) is a reactive metal similar to titanium. An electrical current passed through it will change the surface color (anodized). The amount of voltage applied will determine the color. It is hypoallergenic because it is resistant to acids and alkalines. To clean, if it loses it’s shine, use any window cleaner. It costs about the same as sterling silver and is a bit lighter in weight. While the anodized color should not fade, it is a surface color and can scratch but not readily.
