"Black Mesh 1", 18"x24" framed photograph

Photography is all about seeing, and this is a case-in-point. Any guesses? It is a mesh ball used in taking a shower, sometimes called "scrunchies" or "luffas". Had used these for 1.5 years before one day, getting into the shower, water running, I saw them as a photography subject for the first time. Spent the next 3 days in the studio experimenting. This is one of my 'visions' that emerged! It is an 18"x24" photograph that I mount to an archival substrate called Gatorboard. The image has a thin, textured lamination on the surface to break up light so there is no light reflection. No glass or acrylic is ever used. Voila!
