Mixed Media 18"x24" I am very satisfied with this piece. I like how bold and clean the shapes of the buildings are, and how the element of space makes the buildings pop out of the newspaper mountain. When making this piece I experimented with using mixed media and how different materials worked together. I learned that glue and paint do not mix! I like how the triangular and rectangular shapes of the buildings along with the windows create repetition and rhythm along the piece. I really like how this piece portrays the subject I was referencing and how it creates a sort of eerie feeling.
